Introducing Castit’s New “Report a Problem” Feature

Support is one of those things you rarely think about when everything works, but it becomes essential the moment something stops. That’s why Castit now includes a brand-new, faster, and more intuitive way to contact our Support team directly from the CMS.

Instead of searching for email addresses, explaining where your screen is located, or clarifying which device you're using, everything can now be submitted through one short form, right inside the interface you use every day.

Below, we break down how the new “Report a Problem” feature works, where to find it, how to use it, and why it saves time for both you and our team.

Why We Introduced This Feature

Previously, reporting an issue was done through email or settings, which meant users had to manually write a message, explain the situation, send screenshots, location details, hardware info, and any other relevant notes.

Now, all of that is automated through a simple form that:

  • collects all essential information,
  • automatically identifies the user submitting the request,
  • sends everything directly to the Support team,
  • speeds up the troubleshooting process,
  • removes unnecessary back-and-forth communication.

In other words: fewer steps for you, faster solutions from us.

How to Report a Problem (Step by Step)

The new feature is fully integrated into Castit and available at any moment, with no extra tabs, no searching for contacts, no manual email writing.

1. Log in to Castit CMS

Access your account as usual.

2. Go to the “Players” section

In the left-hand menu, navigate to Players. This is where all devices displaying your content are listed.

3. Click the third tab: “Report a Problem”

At the top of the Players page, you’ll see three tabs. The third one, Report a Problem, is now your dedicated place for submitting any technical issue.

4. Fill in the short form

The form is designed to be simple yet detailed enough for our team to start diagnosing immediately. Here’s what you’ll be asked to provide:

  • Screen Location: Enter the physical address where the screen is located. This is crucial for identifying the device.
  • Hardware Type: Select the device used to broadcast content (PCBox - our device, Chromecast / Google TV streamer, Smart TV or another compatible player)

This immediately points us in the right direction when locating the source of the issue.

5. Click “Submit Form”

Once submitted, your report goes directly into our Support system.

What Happens After You Submit the Form?

Your report is automatically forwarded to: support@futureforward.nl. 

Our Support team will then:

  • receive all the information you submitted,
  • open a support ticket,
  • check the status of your player and screen,
  • reach out with a solution or follow-up questions,
  • and monitor the case until it is fully resolved.

The goal is simple: get your screen back up and running as quickly as possible.
