Castit has introduced a new Dashboard section in the CMS, designed to give you a quick, clear overview of what’s happening across your digital signage setup. Instead of jumping between different sections, you now have key information in one place the moment you log in.
What the Dashboard Is and Why It Matters
The Dashboard is a centralized overview of your Castit environment. It helps you quickly understand the status of your players, access important updates, and take action without digging through menus.
For anyone managing multiple screens or locations, this saves time and reduces the need to manually check each part of the system.
Where to Find It
You’ll now see Dashboard placed at the very top of the left-hand menu in the Castit CMS, right above Screens.
This positioning makes it the first thing you access when entering the platform, exactly where a high-level overview should be.
What You’ll See on the Dashboard
The Dashboard is structured into two main parts: a top row with three key cards, and a news section below.
1. Review Card
The first card invites you to leave a review on platforms like G2 and Capterra.
This isn’t just a prompt. It also highlights that there are benefits available for users who share their experiences. It’s a simple way to contribute feedback while getting something in return.
2. Player Status Overview
Next to it, you’ll find the Player Status card.
This section gives you a quick snapshot of your entire network:
- Total number of players
- How many are online
- How many are offline
There’s also a direct button that takes you to Player Settings, so you can immediately investigate or fix any issues.
For day-to-day management, this is one of the most useful parts of the Dashboard. You don’t need to open each screen or player individually to check if everything is running as expected.

3. Player Locations Map
The third card shows a map view of your players using Google Maps.
You’ll be able to see where your players are located geographically, which is especially helpful if you manage screens across multiple stores, offices, or regions.
To display your players on the map, you can set their location in the Players tab. Simply open a player, click on Set location, enter its address in the location field, and save the settings. Once the address is added, the player will appear on the map in the Dashboard.
This adds context to your setup and makes it easier to understand your network at a glance.
Stay Updated with the News Section
Below the cards, the Dashboard includes a News section.
Here, you’ll find the latest blog posts from Castit, covering:
- Product updates
- New features
- Digital signage tips
- How-to guides
It’s a simple way to stay informed without leaving the CMS or checking external channels.
See the Dashboard in Action
The new Dashboard improves how you interact with Castit on a daily basis. Instead of navigating through multiple sections, you can:
- Get a quick system overview in seconds
- Spot issues with players immediately
- Access key actions faster
- Stay up to date with product changes and best practices
It’s a small structural change, but it makes managing digital signage smoother and more efficient.
The Dashboard is already available in the Castit CMS. Simply log in and you’ll find it at the top of the menu, where you can quickly see an overview of your setup.
