Slide Creator
Castit’s Slide Creator is a fully integrated design tool that makes it easy to create high-quality digital signage content directly inside the platform. Teams can start from professionally designed templates or a blank canvas, then build visually rich slides using text, images, videos, shapes, drawings, QR codes, playlists, and apps. With precise layout control, layers, styling options, real-time previews, and animations for individual elements, Slide Creator enables dynamic, branded content without the need for external design software. Slides can be organized into folders, saved as reusable templates, assigned availability rules, previewed before publishing, and added instantly to Screens or Playlists, supporting fast creation at scale.
Library
The Library is Castit’s central content repository, designed to keep all digital signage assets organized, accessible, and ready to use. It securely stores uploaded images and videos, Slide Creator designs, stock content, and upcoming AI-generated assets. With folders, subfolders, search, filters, and sorting options, teams can manage large content libraries efficiently. Media can be previewed, moved, renamed, downloaded, or deleted, and added directly to Screens or Playlists through quick actions, ensuring consistent, well-structured content across all displays.
Playlists
Playlists make it easy to create structured content loops by combining images, videos, slides, and apps into a single sequence. Playback order and duration can be fine-tuned for each item, resulting in smooth, well-paced presentation on screen. Playlists can be reused across multiple Screens, duplicated for variations, and assigned their own availability rules, allowing teams to adapt messaging for different audiences, locations, campaigns, or times of day without rebuilding content from scratch.
Apps & Integrations
Castit Apps bring live, automatically updating content to digital screens, including social media feeds, news, weather, calendars, dashboards, documents, and more. Each app includes dedicated configuration options such as content sources, layout preferences, and display duration, while MultiApp allows multiple apps to be combined into a single view. Beyond the standard app library, Castit also supports custom integrations, enabling seamless connections to existing systems and workflows for real-time, always-relevant screen content.
Screens & Players
Screens and Players form the foundation of Castit’s digital signage architecture. A Screen defines the content, settings, availability, and schedule, while the Player is the software running on the physical display device. Castit Players are available across a wide range of platforms, including Android, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, Web Player, and Castit Box. Devices are paired using a simple code or QR scan, after which content syncs automatically in real time. One Screen can power multiple Players across locations, with reliable playback supported by local content storage even during temporary internet disruptions.
Availability & Scheduling
Availability and scheduling tools give full control over when content appears on screen. Screens can be set to play continuously, within specific date ranges, or at custom hours per day, while calendar-based scheduling enables precise time-based playback. This allows teams to automate messaging for campaigns, events, promotions, and recurring scenarios, ensuring the right content is displayed at exactly the right moment.
Live Preview & Monitoring
Live preview and monitoring provide real-time visibility into what is playing on every Screen and Player, without the need to be on-site. Teams can preview active content, check online and offline status, see which Screen is assigned to each Player, and monitor device health across locations. Clear status indicators and remote preview capabilities make it easy to identify issues early, reduce downtime, and manage both small installations and large digital signage networks from a single dashboard.
Screen-to-mobile (QR Sharing)
Screen-to-Mobile extends digital signage beyond the display by connecting screens to mobile devices through QR codes. QR codes can be added to any slide or layout, allowing visitors to instantly access web pages, videos, PDFs, surveys, forms, or additional resources on their smartphones. This approach keeps on-screen messaging focused and uncluttered while offering deeper engagement through mobile interaction.

Slide Animations & Transitions
Castit gives full control over how content enters and exits the screen through customizable slide animations and transitions. Users can choose different entrance and exit animations, apply them to specific content types, such as images, videos, or Slide Creator objects, or set them globally for all content. With a built-in preview, it’s easy to see how transitions will look before applying changes. These animations help create smooth, visually engaging content changes that draw attention at the right moments, while keeping playback professional and consistent across all screens.
